Bruce Willis Did Not Want Michael Bay As a Director of His Movies
As per the report Bruce Willis never wanted to be the part of Armageddon movie. However, due to his legal obligations with Disney, the actor was forced to work on the project. Despite the success of the movie Willis was quite frustrated by both the project and its director Michael Bay.
Taking on to the forum Ain’t it Cool News back in 2007 Willis made a prophetic comment on Michael Bay. Discussing his experience with the director, Willis stated that the constant screaming of Bay on the set of Armageddon made the whole working environment very unpleasant.

Further talking about a hypothetical situation where Bay might have directed the fourth installment of Die Hard Willis said “[He] would have ruined DH4. Few people will work with him now, and I know I will never work with him again. A screaming Director does not make for a pleasant set experience.”
Even though Willis seemed quite confident about his comment, Bay on the other hand was surprised and said that he loved working with Willis and never thought that there were any kind of hard feelings.
Bruce Willis Never Wanted to Be Part of Armageddon
Even though Armageddon was a good add-on to Bruce Willis’s resume the actor never wanted to be part of the movie. As per the reports back in 1997, Willis was working on a romantic sports comedy movie Broadway Brawler. Willis was deeply involved in the project both as an actor and director.
However, some unfortunate incidents and setbacks on the set caused the movie to see a complete halt. Although the Cinergi company had already spent around $17 million on the movie, they wanted to recoup their losses for which they turned to the parent company Disney. Even though Disney was ready to pay the bill they did keep a condition that involved Willis working in Disney-produced movies at only $10 million. As a result of this agreement, Willis was forced to work on Armageddon.
