Forget About Deadpool vs Spider-Man, MCU Fans Want Ryan Reynolds to Face Off Against Chris Pratt’s Demigod in MCU
- Watching Deadpool dance in the opening credits scene of Deadpool & Wolverine has given fan some ideas.
- One of these ideas is having Chris Pratt's Star Lord and Deadpool having a dance competition.
- Deadpool & Wolverine makers have some ideas for Wade's collaboration with other superheroes.
Fans seem to have had enough about Deadpool’s friendship with Wolverine, they now want to see the Merc with a Mouth in a face-off against Chris Pratt’s demigod Star Lord. A dance face-off no less. That would certainly be an interesting competition to watch.
Thanks to Disney’s acquisition of Fox, Deadpool is now a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This has opened a door to endless possibilities for the character, which also includes crossovers with other characters. One that fans seem to be enthusiastic about is a dance competition between Star Lord and Deadpool.
Fans Want to See Deadpool and Star Lord in a Face-off
Deadpool is known for his unhinged nature. He does not fit into the typical hero mold, rather he is something entirely different. A character that is his own and has an entire fandom supporting his every move.
Even switching to the MCU could not stop him from being unapologetically himself. It is this uncompromising essence that fans have come to admire in all the years that he has been around on the screen. Now, a fan on X has expressed his desire to see him to see in a dance-off opposite Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill.
This has left fans divided regarding who would win the face-off, with the scale weighing towards the scarlet assassin.
There is a lot of things that the mercenary can do, and one of them has turned out to be dancing even if it was not Ryan Reynolds in the suit. In the opening credits scene of Deadpool & Wolverine, he is seen dancing to NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye in a hilariously choreographed routine.
The half-celestial is also no stranger to dancing. He showed off his unexpected dance moves in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. The prison scene in which he danced to Come and Get Your Love was quite a viral sensation at the moment.
The Makers of Deadpool & Wolverine Want to See Wade Wilson Team Up with These Superheroes
Much like the fans, the creators of Deadpool & Wolverine also want to see Wade with some other MCU superheroes, and honestly, no one is complaining about it. In the June issue of Total Film, Shawn Levy expressed his desire to see Peter Parker and Wade share a screen.
The thing about Deadpool is I think he makes everything more interesting because of his audacity. But, boy, I’d sure love to see Deadpool and Spidey. That’s a movie I’d love to make. I feel like Tom Holland would run circles around everyone else.
If that is not exciting enough, perhaps producer Wendy Jacobson’s eagerness to see Deadpool and She-Hulk villain Titania go head-to-head certainly is.
I can’t imagine being an actor, period, but I can’t imagine having to work opposite someone like Ryan Reynolds, who is just so quick and so smart and so funny all the time – but that woman could handle it.
Well, the only way to find out if Titania can take Deadpool is through putting them on the same screen, and the power to do so lies in the hands of those behind the multi-billion-dollar franchise.
