The recent announcement for the PlayStation Plus members revealed two free games that will be accessible to them. The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 are two of the free video games that are added and will soon be available within the premium service. PlayStation’s official blog post revealed that the two video games would be available for download from 1st October onwards.

PS4 Announcement For Two Free Games

The announcement came out as a part of the State of Play, which not only announced the release of two video games, but also gave gamers more insight into the new, upcoming game, The Last of Us Part II. Due to that, it’s not entirely surprising to see that the release of the original, The Last Of Us Remastered, has become more accessible. While MLB The Show 19 may appear to be a strange choice for premium release, it’s still appealing to fans of baseball video games.

“The Last of Us takes place 20 years after a pandemic has radically changed civilization, with infected humans running wild and survivors killing each other for food, weapons – whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a violent survivor, is hired to smuggle a 14-year-old girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, but what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal journey across the U.S.”
