Several months after she and Tom Brady finalized their divorce, the 42-year-old runway pro made a stunning solo entrance at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday. She dazzled in an ethereal white gown. Gisele Bündchen and her 45-year-old football star ex-husband, Tom Brady, divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. The ex-couple shares two kids.
According to sources, the supermodel attended the annual pageant in New York dressed in Archival Chanel in memory of the brand’s late creative director, Karl Lagerfeld.
Gisele Bundchen Went Solo In Archival Chanel At The Met Gala 2023
Gisele Bündchen returned to the spotlight with a dazzling appearance at the Met Gala 2023.
The supermodel glistened on the carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a white Chanel gown with sparkling sequins arranged in vertical white striped panels. The extravagantly long feathered cape that she wore behind her, however, served as the outfit’s focal point.
The Chanel design was previously worn by Bündchen in a 2007 Harper’s BAZAAR Korea photo shoot. The theme of this year’s Gala, ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, honors the late Chanel creative director’s life and legacy.
The spring 2023 exhibition will examine “the work of Karl Lagerfeld,” according to the Costume Institute.
The show will highlight the German-born designer’s distinctive working methodology by concentrating on his stylistic vocabulary as expressed in aesthetic themes. It is known to have consistently appeared in his clothing from the 1950s to his final collection in 2019.

The theme of the event, ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’, was perfectly suited for Bündchen’s glittering appearance in a gold Atelier Versace gown with a high-cut slit and a one-shoulder design. Meanwhile, the former NFL player looked dapper in a black suit with gold embroidery.
