Gisele Bündchen debunks the rumors that she is dating her ex-husband’s billionaire friend Jaffrey Soffer and reveals the reason behind her divorce from Tom Brady. The NFL star Tom Brady and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen confirmed their divorce on October 2022.  

Gisele Bündchen claims her marriage to Tom Brady was over long before. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the supermodel addressed the rumors surrounding her divorce from Brady, and she denied ever forcing him to choose between their marriage and his career.

Gisele Bündchen opened up about her high-profile divorce and described the loss of a husband through divorce as death and rebirth. She said, 

“When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, you have to live this life. You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing. We’re not playing against each other. We are a team and that’s beautiful. I look back and I have no regrets. I loved every bit of it.”

The 42-year-old model also discussed how she and her ex-husband Tom Brady had grown apart over the last few years.

“Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart. When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make. That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.”

The fashion model has denied claims that she had moved on from Tom Brady with his billionaire friend Jeffrey Soffer. The model revealed that she has zero connection with her husband’s friends and has no desire to date any of them. She also expressed her emotions that people assumed she was dating Brady’s close friend because of his $2.2 billion net worth.

Gisele Bündchen Responds To Dating Rumors With Joaquim Valente

After her divorce from Tom Brady was finalized, Gisele Bündchen reportedly went on vacation to Provincia de Puntarenas with her Jiu-Jitsu coach Joaquim Valente and her two children Benjamin Rein and Vivian Lake. According to People magazine, Bündchen and Valente have a close relationship. The duo enjoys spending time with each other.

Bundchen and Joaquim Valente have been seen out together multiple times since her divorce, they were spotted playing with a frisbee during their vacation in Costa Rica. Valente was showing off his body on the beach, and Bündchen wore a bikini top underneath a loose shirt and shorts. In a recent interview, the model discussed her relationship with her Jiu-jitsu instructor.

The supermodel revealed, 

“I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything. I’m so grateful to know all of them, because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.”

The mother of two adds,

“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”

Gisele Bundchen further explained how social media users have been trolling her ever since she divorced her former husband Tom Brady and everyone is trying to link her with his friends. Bundchen said it’s disheartening to see people saying she’s dating Jaffrey Soffer because he is a billionaire.
