Godzilla: King of the Monsters is going to premiere soon on May 31st and to celebrate that, the Godzilla Store in Tokyo, Japan is doing something. The Store will be bringing over a whole bunch of official merchandise to the US, that’s traditionally only found at the stores in Japan. So fans who have a nearby participating Kinokuniya should check as these Godzilla pop-up shops should already be in operation.

Are There Any Advantages Which Come With These Godzilla Pop-Up Stores In US?

It’s not really that uncommon for the Kinokuniya Stores to carry Godzilla merchandise but these pop-up shops will offer something more. They will have a number of specialized bits and pieces which aren’t found at other kinokuniya stores.

The press release says that:

Which US Locations Are Participating?

Participating Kinokuniya locations include those present in Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and more. The pop-up shops are set to run from May 18th to June 30th but you should keep in mind that there’s no guarantee as to how long the supplies themselves will last. So if you really want something then you better hurry.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be directed by Michael Dougherty and will star Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe amongst others. It will release on May 31st.
