The Shakira fandom took it upon itself personally to make Gerard Pique’s life as hellish as possible on social media when news of his infidelity was made public last year. It was blasphemous to even think that someone could cheat on the Columbian diva who easily enjoys the status of a drop-dead gorgeous goddess. They were together for over a decade and share two kids, Milan and Sasha, and people were furious when the former Barcelona player chose a 22-something mysterious blonde over “THE” Shakira. That mystery blonde we now know is Clara Chia Marti who met Pique while interning for one of his companies. And the Shakira fans haven’t forgiven the 35-year-old yet, and now it seems the hatred has surpassed social media trolling and has entered the real-life arena as well.

Gerard Pique reportedly left no stone unturned to make his separation from Shakira as painful and humiliating as possible. Not only did he fight the Waka Waka singer tooth and nail for the custody of their kids, but he also indulged in tons of PDA with his new girlfriend thus making the moving-on process all the more harder for his baby mama. Every time he was spotted in public with Clara Chia Marti, it became a subject of speculation and attracted all of the media and paparazzi’s attention.
His latest outing with the 23-year-old garnered attention again but for all the wrong reasons. The soccer player reportedly went with his new girlfriend to a Japanese restaurant with probably the hopes of getting a delicious dinner. Instead, he got kicked out of the place.

Shakira fan kicks Gerard Pique out of his restaurant
The fiasco took place because apparently, the restaurant owner was a huge fan of the Whenever Wherever singer and couldn’t tolerate Pique and Marti under his establishment for what they did to her. The world got to know about the same via a viral TikTok video that one of the customers there might have made and posted. The caption to the video can be translated as “Clara Chia and Piqué went out to eat at a restaurant and the owner is a fan of Shakira and personally ran to Clara Chia Marti”. As per reports, the waiter at the eatery refused to serve the duo as well, and eventually, Marti got really embarrassed and had no other option but to leave.
Twitteratis gave their thumbs up to the owner’s and waiter’s alleged course of action, claiming that the retired soccer player and his paramour deserved this treatment.

That is indeed quite the army that the Hips Don’t Lie singer has got behind her and it is apparent in how well her diss tracks for Pique are doing. And she is all set to drop another one on February 24, in collaboration with Karol G.
