Gordon Ramsay Smashed Alleged Infidelity Accusations
Self-described “professional mistress” Sarah Symonds accused Gordon Ramsay of infidelity in 2008, claiming she’d been having an affair with the chef for seven years. In her statement, Symonds described Ramsay as a “confidante” and “soulmate” who loves the thrill of taking risks and is addicted to adrenaline. It was reported that the couple met at a London nightclub in 2001 and began an affair. At that time, Symonds was more famous than Ramsay since she had been revealed as the mistress of suspense novelist and conservative politician Jeffrey Archer. To maintain his public image, the foul-mouthed chef has carefully crafted a family man image, married for 26 years to a former Montessori teacher/schoolteacher, Tana, who has five children.
Despite the allegations, Ramsay denied everything, joking about them with his mother while filming a cooking show. Ramsay remarked,
“What a week I’ve had. My mum is in here tonight, so I’m on my best behavior, ooh la la. Oh, f**k it. I didn’t do it, mum; I love you.”
In an interview with Men’s Journal, Ramsay reaffirmed his innocence and explained why he would never cheat on his wife. He went on to describe his wife if he would cheat on her and said,
“She’s a nut crusher. If I ever f**ked up, she’d have my b**ls in a vice and turn them into a f**king crêpe Suzette thinner than the frilliest knickers Paris Hilton’s ever worn.”
Besides his infidelity, the celebrity chef was in the headlines due to other scandals. According to reports, Ramsay was also arrested in 1993 along with two other male chefs in a tube station lavatory at various stages of undress. There was a report in 2009 that Gordon Ramsay’s London gastropubs were serving previously prepared frozen food to uninformed customers.
Gordon Ramsay Celebrated his 26th Wedding Anniversary With his Wife, Tana
It is safe to say that Gordon Ramsay is quite the household name among celebrity chefs at this point in his career. It’s a fact that all of Chef Ramsay’s restaurants have personalized coasters and are well-established. He has 72 total food establishments that people can visit across the globe.
The celebrity chef has celebrated a significant milestone. In honor of their 26th wedding anniversary, the Hell’s Kitchen star and his wife, Tana, shared photos from their wedding day on Instagram. An emotional Instagram post showed Ramsay kissing his wife on the cheek after their wedding.
He captioned the post, “Happy anniversary to this amazing woman @tanaramsay love you (heart emoji).”
Tana shared more photos of her and her husband from their wedding a few decades back. The caption referred to their five children, Megan, 24; HollyAnna, 22; Jack, 22; Tilly, 21; and Oscar, 3. She captioned her post,
“26 years ago, 21/12/1996, we started this journey x so blessed and so lucky to share my life with you, thank you for everything xxxxxxxx Happy Anniversary @gordongram and of course Megan, Jack, @hollyramsayy @tillyramsay @oscarjramsay I love you all x”
The Couple walked down the aisle together, shared a kiss, and entered the venue hand-in-hand in the sweet photographs of their nuptials.
