GTA 6 Trailer Gathers 4X More Views in 24 Hours Than The Marvels Did in 4 Months

The trailer of GTA 6 was viewed over 90 million times in just its first 24 hours. By doing so, it overtook the previous record for the most viewed non-music video set by popular YouTuber Mr Beast. Moreover, it just fell short of becoming the most viewed video on the platform in the first 24 hours, a record which was set by BTS’ song Butter which had around 108 million in 24 hours.

For example, a woman can be seen in the trailer with hammers in both hands. That seems to be a clear inspiration from a viral video clip that saw a woman trying to intimidate her neighbours.

A real-life video of a man pulling out an alligator from a swimming pool is also used in the trailer. Moreover, some people have pointed out that the appearance of a prisoner in the game appears to be based on a man known as Miami’s real-life Joker.
