Gut-wrenching Sexual Abuse Claim About Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ By Widow Allison Holker Will Tear Fans’ Heart Out
- It's been two years since Stephen 'tWitch' Boss has passed away.
- Stephen's wife, Allison Holker, has been walking on her healing journey with her three kids.
- But, recently, Holker revealed a few things about her deceased husband's past that left his fans in shock.
Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who was particularly known for his contribution as a dancer on So You Think You Can Dance and a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, passed away in December 2022 by suicide. The star rose to fame after participating in MTV’s The Wade Robson Project and later became a runner-up on Star Search. His career profile also includes him becoming an executive producer on The Ellen Show. Boss was not only loved by his millions of fans but also by his family (wife, Allison Holker, and three kids).
His death was devastating for his family. It’s been two years since he passed away, and his wife, Holker, is still going through a healing process. Now, in a recent interview, Holker opened up about the things she discovered in their closet that she didn’t even know existed. Unraveling those things left her shocked.
Allison Holker revealed Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss hid things from her
Allison Holker always praised her husband, Boss, not only for being the most understanding and caring partner but also for being a doting father to their three kids, Weslie, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 5. However, in a recent conversation with People for its latest cover story, she talked about the things Holker discovered while scanning through the pages of his journals as she was looking for some closer.
She learned about Stephen tWitch Boss‘s past and that he had hidden painful secrets even from his close ones so that he wouldn’t suffocate them with his own pain. Holker said that according to Boss’ claims in his journals, he was alluded to being abused by a male family member when he was young. She continued,
He was wrestling with a lot inside himself, and he was trying to self-medicate and cope with all those feelings because he didn’t want to put it on anyone because he loved everyone so much.
Even though she felt betrayed as he kept these secrets within him, she also got a fresh perspective regarding why he behaved how he behaved.
Holker further added, “It did have me feel a lot of empathy towards him and sadness for all the pain that he was holding.” However, now that Allison is talking about her husband in her upcoming memoir and airing these things out, Boss’ family is not okay with it.
Allison Holker thinks Stephen “tWitch” Boss was struggling between his two personalities
During the nine years of their marriage, Holker always thought that she and Boss had honest communication about everything, including his marijuana use. He would come to their guesthouse to smoke and drink and have some alone time. But what she didn’t know was that he got into substance use (mushrooms, pills, and other stuff).
Before he committed suicide, Boss had a low phase. He was showering less and was smoking frequently. As Holker stated, at that time he was closing out eight years on The Ellen Show and was also ending his time as a judge on SYTYCD. She thought he probably was taking a rest but in hindsight, it was something else.
Now, when she looks back, Holker believes that Boss was struggling between his two personalities. His extroverted ‘tWitch’ side, loved by millions of people, and his introverted ‘Stephen’ side, a man who craved quality time with his family. Holker shared,
I was with him for so long, and that’s how he’s been the entire relationship. I was like, ‘It’s a beautiful thing that he can be both.’ What if he felt safe being this one individual that has different kind of energies. You don’t have to be a completely different person and put them aside from each other.
On the day he went missing, Boss dropped Weslie at school and told her, “I wish I could be your Superman.” She was the last person who saw him alive.
