The Disney+ series Hawkeye is just one episode away from its finale and has given us some nice content. The show has perfectly introduced Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, Echo, and Kingpin! Just like any other Marvel series on Disney+, episode 4 of Hawkeye was also a bit too interesting as it featured Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. As soon as she unmasked herself, the show achieved another level of TRP because Marvel fans love them a good crossover. But in the midst of all this, Marvel may have revealed that Yelena will never become an Avenger. But why is that? Let’s find out!

Fans are obsessed over Yelena Belova ever since she made her MCU debut in Black Widow. Now that she made a proper appearance in episode 5 of Hawkeye, she has revealed something far too important, and i.e., that she might never become a part of the Avengers because she resents the very word itself. During her impromptu girls night with Kate (after she broke into her apartment), she asked Kate why does she like Clint anyway. After hearing the word Avengers, Yelena got a little enraged and said, “What does that word even mean? Huh? That it holds so much power?”

Yelena is clearly not interested in being an Avenger and also despises it because Hawkeye, after killing so many people as Ronin is still an Avenger. In Black Widow, we saw that Nat considered the Avengers as her true family and not Yelena and their make-believe parents. However, it all changed in the end. Be it so, Yelena never stopped making fun of Nat because she thought her sister is now a gimmick and that The Avengers is a facade.

Of course, who is to say when and how her feeling might change, but as of now, she’ll steer clear of the Avengers. Also, she is all prepared to kill Clint Barton because she blamed her and the entire team for her sister’s death. She does not hold them responsible for saving the world, and herself too. Is it possible that in the finale her feelings about the Avenger might change? We’ll have to wait to find out!
