While the Marvel and Disney+ series, Hawkeye, introduced quite some brave and likable characters on screen, some of them were witty and intelligent above all. In fact, for the majority of its time, Hawkeye‘s characters were allowed to reflect traits like fighting abilities, bravery, and other likable qualities to depict how smart they could be after all. Undoubtedly, it takes significant smartness and intelligence to achieve what Hawkeye’s characters achieved. That is why the majority of them were seemed to be doing some brilliant things throughout the series. With that being said, these are the 5 main characters ranked (in ascending order) as per their intelligence –

Wilson Fisk

Wilson Fisk was a perfect criminal that no one saw coming. While Fisk is notorious and Barton already knew who Wilson was, the character wasn’t someone that many people expected to show up throughout the series. Well, this certainly got cleared in the penultimate episode. In this regard, Wilson Fisk as a character was just supposed to be there for one episode and show all the intelligence that he possessed. However, fans who have seen Netflix’s Daredevil would know how cunning Fisk can be. But apparently, in Hawkeye, the character possessed and depicted more of his ruthless and vicious side than anybody else.

Yelena Belova

Yelena is certainly witty. With that being said, Yelena has got training in a variety of fields. As a result, she managed to develop her knowledge in a way that no other character from the series could match her. In fact, there was a time when she stood out to be way more brawn than anybody else. Later, when she got in the direction of Clint Barton, Yelena got blinded by the grief of the loss of her sister. However, she is smart enough to always have a plan ahead of everybody else.

Kate Bishop

Kate is a great friend, a spectacular fighter, and an incredibly great person. With that being said, as evidenced by the GPA she got at school; Kate is quite smart as well. Moreover, she managed to self-learn most of the archery skills all her life. However, Kate Bishop still has one thing that is going against her and that is the lack of experience. There have been many times when Kate’s desire and enthusiasm to become a hero made her fall into a battle where she was about to get hurt. Still, she never fears picking her weapon and fight because Kate knows her capabilities.

Laura Barton

While Laura didn’t appear for long in Marvel and Disney+’s Hawkeye, the character is indeed intelligent and simplified throughout. Perhaps that is why it becomes clear that Laura Barton has already worked with Clint Barton before on other missions as well. She never stepped into an on-field job. However, Laura helped with her prominent advice and recommendations to proceed further. The character has worked with S.H.I.E.L.D after all; she has to be a genius for obvious reasons.

Clint Barton

Clint Barton failed to become the smartest one when it was about the team Avengers. Of course, Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, Thor, Peter, and others were way ahead of him. However, when it comes to Marvel and Disney+’s Hawkeye, Barton is indeed the smartest one in the room. He was smart and intelligent enough to bring Kate Bishop safely and helped her enhance her skills. It undoubtedly takes both maturity and intelligence to take such steps.
