“He literally painted me with a dead cat”: Tom Holland’s Co-star Amanda Seyfried’s Confusing Art Collection That Includes a Wool Vag*na
One of the industry’s most talented actresses, Amanda Seyfried, recently starred in The Crowded Room on Apple TV+ alongside Spider-Man actor Tom Holland. However, the actress’ recent work including The Dropout managed to make her fans happy and give her the title of queen of television roles.
Seyfried appreciated Holland for accepting the part even though she warned him that it would be the most difficult role he had ever played. But during a recent interview, the actress talked about her intriguing art collection and displayed the eclectic works of art she owns to the audience; something she is really proud of.

During an interview with Architectural Digest, actress Amanda Seyfried, who recently appeared in The Crowded Room, took her fans inside her gorgeous Manhattan apartment where she showcased her interesting art collection.
She interestingly shared an original art piece in her family’s Catskills home, explaining, “In my house upstate, I have, like, a wool vag*na hanging — custom vagina, not kidding. I don’t know why. I like to remember that we’re all human.”
The Mean Girls actress also during the interview showcased a portrait of her by painter Mark Ryden and explained, “He was inspired by something I said about wanting him to paint me with a dead cat, and he literally painted me with a dead cat.” She also shared that she has a ceramic sculpture of a toilet that her sister made in high school which she had since she moved downtown.

Talking about her house during the interview, Seyfried said that it was designed by Sarah Zames from General Assembly and described, “I just feel so at peace here in the big city, feeling like we’re slightly home even though we’re not home home.”
She noted that she and Zames were working for the third time, which is why she trusted the designer and her partner Colin Stief to do an incredible job, which they did. The actress describes Zames’ style as modern, which is the total opposite of what Seyfried is, but they, in corporate, have modern taste with Seyfried’s taste to give her the best of both worlds.
During the conversation, the actress also shared that she has the old dining table from her old apartment and added that she would never part with it. She explained,
“Dinnertime is just oil and food on the floor and messiness — and a new stain is made and a new memory is made and that’s just how we have to look at things.”
The actress co-founded Make It Cute, which creates playhouses for children and she mentioned during the interview that she and her friends are very much into architecture and they wanted to create a space for their kids to play and explore and make it their own, which is exactly what Make It Cute playhouses do. Seyfried added that an aesthetic outside that was pleasing and calming to the parents was their approach.

Amanda Seyfried spoke to People magazine earlier this month about The Crowded Room, in which she stars alongside Tom Holland and discussed the balance she had to maintain while being a mom and a workaholic.
She noted that her daughter understands her passion for acting and she knows that Seyfried can be a good mom and a current artist, pointing out that she had her daughter on set quite a bit.
“She would sit in the dressing with my assistant and draw. I mean, the whole wall in my dressing room was covered in drawings from my daughter. It was really nice. I love merging the two lives together. I love when my family comes to work. You know, I felt really lucky that I was able to do that.”
The actress shared during a different interview that she just loves her character, Rya, so much and noted that the show’s development is slow, but when the audience watch it they will come to realize that these people are saving each other through just their presence, their engagement and their care for each other.
