Actor John Travolta appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his wife Sam Taylor-Johnson. Travolta and Aaron had appeared together in a movie titled Savages in 2012, and it was before the Kraven the Hunter actor got married to his writer-director wife.

The Pulp Fiction actor was asked to show the other three people on stage his iconic moves from the Quentin Tarantino-directed movie in which he danced alongside Uma Thurman. He taught them the twist, the swim, the hip shaker, the mashed potatoes, and of course the Batman. The audience loved watching the actor grooving in the same manner as Vincent Vega.

During the conversation, the actor revealed some facts about creating the dance sequence in the movie. He said,

Quentin was dead set on both of us doing the twist, which is a very fun dance, but it is limited in how long one wants to watch someone doing the twist. So I said to Quentin, when I was growing up here, there were novelty dances, like the swim and the Batman. Maybe we should widen the spectrum like this.

During the conversation, James Corden turned towards Sam and asked her how it was for her to direct a s*x scene, which included her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson. At this point, Travolta’s head turned towards the couple swiftly but in shock, almost as if it was during the interview that he realized that the actor and the filmmaker were a couple.

Fans had the most hilarious time reacting to Travolta’s head turn as one of them wrote,

Another user mentioned that the two of them could easily pass for being a ‘mother-son duo.’ A third user wrote, ‘John Travolta was so shocked he almost canceled his male massage.’ Another user had commented under the video, ‘Not John giving them ‘That’s not your son?’ look.

A lot of people laughed at the way Travolta looked at the couple, whereas a lot of them were not happy with the couple for obvious reasons, i.e., they believed that they shouldn’t be together because of their massive age gap.

The actor who is recently seen in Kraven the Hunter met his wife on the sets of her 2009 directorial debut, Nowhere Boy, in which the actor played a teenager’s role. Aaron Taylor-Johnson proposed exactly a year later, and now they share two daughters as well as a daughter from the filmmaker’s previous marriage.

In his interview with Rolling Stone UK, the actor defended their marriage and especially their age gap by stating,

What you have to realize is that what most people were doing in their twenties, I was doing when I was 13. You’re doing something too quickly for someone else? I don’t understand that. What speed are you supposed to enjoy life at? It’s bizarre to me.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been a doting father to not only his and Sam’s daughters but also the daughters Sam Taylor-Johnson had from her previous marriage. The actor wants to protect all four of them and mentioned that he must be their role model. In her interview with The Guardian, when Sam was asked if she avoids social media she said she does not.

The filmmaker explained that that it’s always going to be there but it does not mean anything. She added that the comments on social media are just people upset with their own sadness; with misgivings about their own lives. She also described their relationship as ‘we’re a bit of an anomaly’.

The family recently appeared at the New York City premiere of Kraven the Hunter, supporting the actor for his work. This appearance also marks the first time the couple’s elder daughters made their red carpet-appearance.
