Britney Spears recently encountered a humiliating circumstance when the security guard of NBA player Victor Wembanyama brutally assaulted the singer. The incident occurred when the Toxic singer and her husband, Sam Asghari, were having dinner at the Aria Hotel. The singer spotted the basketball player and wanted to take a photo with him. When Spears tapped Wembanyama on the shoulder, Damian Smith, the security guard, allegedly shoved her striking the singer in the face and forcing her to fall to the ground.
Post this incident, the pop star filed a complaint against the NBA star’s security. In a recent interview, Spears demanded an apology from the person who assaulted her. She claimed the guard’s actions were dangerous and disgusting.
The Hold Me Closer singer said she did not blame Wembanyama, but she felt she had been treated unfairly. In an Instagram post, she stated, “I don’t feel like I have been treated as an equal person in this country.”
A source close to Spears revealed,
“What if this was a little kid? What if it were a handicapped person that tapped him on the shoulder for an autograph? He would be arrested and sentenced to prison time.”
The source added,
“The security guard had no idea what was behind him he just swung. No one was running. No one was screaming. There was no commotion. There has been no action taken against the bodyguard.”
The source of the singer said she called such guards a bully and added,
“They are being a bully. All they need to do is say we are sorry, and this will all go away. Be a classy organization. Instead, they are trying to spin this by saying her hand hit her own face when it didn’t. He smacked her the video shows this.”
After the incident, Britney Spears’s husband, Sam Asghari, took to his Instagram and lash out at the person who assaulted his wife. The complaint of the singer was filed, and the Las Vegas Police Department was investigating it.

The police report stated that, when the security man guarding the French 19-year-old pushed Spears’ hand away from him, she was the one who actually struck herself in the face.
None of the people associated with the incident have been charged. The NBA player also expressed his confusion and stated his position. He claims that after the singer made the accusation public, he only realized that Spears was the one who had been calling his name.
