Marvel TV show stars reacted to Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and some other Netflix shows moving to Disney+.
Several Marvel TV series stars have reacted to the news that their shows will be moving Disney+. The news surfaced via the social media platform, Twitter. As per the tweet by Disney+, all Marvel TV series is going to get premiered on Disney+ from March 16, 2022. However, it was revealed shortly thereafter that the movies will stay behind on Netflix.
The Netflix-Disney+ Branding Updates
Primarily, only Disney+ Canada was slated to host Daredevil and the other Marvel shows. This was supposed to happen after the completion of their Netflix contracts. But it apparently sparked discussions among fans in both Canada as well as the US. They were wondering if they too would ultimately have access to such projects that are now fully part of Disney’s streaming services.
In this regard, the Disney+ streaming service will be taking the Marvel shows from Netflix. Following the news and the announcement made, the company will continue to make all of its original Netflix projects available on the Disney+ platform starting March 16th (including their original TV-MA ratings as well).
Following this event, Marvel’s top TV talent voiced their enthusiasm for the Disney-branding updates on Twitter. Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil and The Defenders), and Ben Barnes (The Punisher and SHIELD) were among those to Tweet about the exciting news. Here’s what they tweeted:

— Ben Barnes (@benbarnes) March 1, 2022
While it may not be an explicit continuation of its events, the introduction of The Defenders into the Marvel Cinematic Universe gives fans the hope that conflicts. Additionally, theories relating to how characters from each property will eventually cross paths are now open to discussion and debate. Whatever Marvel Studios’ path may lead for these titles, most fans are just happy that all of their favorite Marvel content is still being shared on one notable platform – Disney+.
