Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez had quite the meet-cute almost seven years ago and have been together since then, creating a family of their own. But the couple has recently become a headline subject for all the wrong reasons. If a certain report is to be believed, there might be some trouble in paradise, despite their respective social media feeds being rife with romantic posts.
A rumor generated in a Portuguese television show has suggested that the former Real Madrid player “is fed up with her”. And that, we might soon see the power couple break up.
Is Cristiano Ronaldo tired of Georgina Rodriguez’s “frivolous attitude”?
The Portuguese television program Noite das Estrelas on the CMTV channel recently covered a report that claims that Cristiano Ronaldo has grown “tired” of Georgina Rodriguez and her “frivolous” attitude. On the show, psychologist Quintino Aries assessed the couple’s recently recorded outings at public events. He inferred,
“Ronaldo’s recent behavior shows two things: that his personal life is not in a moment of happiness and that the more he distances himself from his mother, Dolores Aveiro, the less tempered he is. And we all know why he is increasingly distant from his family.”
A journalist on the show Daniel Nascimento responded,
“Ronaldo is not happy. Georgina spends her days in a shopping centre in Riyadh and that’s one of the reasons why Cristiano is starting to find this story not funny. She just spends and spends and spends. And worst of all, she thinks she’s on Cristiano’s level. She’s putting herself on a pedestal and he’s not liking it at all”.
The influencer also got bashed for her Netflix docuseries Soy Georgina, or I Am Georgina, for portraying a privileged, spoiled lifestyle on the back of Ronaldo’s money. Several reviews called her vain and shallow and the show pointless.

Is a wedding on the cards likely?
Meanwhile, on Noite das Estrelas, talk show host Leo Caeiro said:
“I’ve been saying it for months. They are not doing well and it is likely that they will split up. The reality is that CR7 is fed up with her. That’s the reality. I still say there will be no wedding. They are together to feed the product.”
Amidst all this gossip and backlash, there was one person who defended Rodriguez and the couple as well. Filipa Castro, who happens to be a friend of the former Manchester United player, stepped into the discussion and chided everyone else,
“I can affirm from a 100 percent reliable source that they are as always doing very well. This is just stories, gossip, made up by people who can’t stand Gio. They are a couple who have love to give and give away.”
