Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield or two of the most memorable characters from Pulp Fiction, as director Quentin Tarantino takes his audience through a journey that for a few minutes only involves listening to Vincent describing his Amsterdam experience to Jules.

Jules, played by Samuel L. Jackson, is very particular about the subjects John Travolta’s character brings up. From a Quarter Pounder with Cheese to curiosity about Big Mac and Whopper’s name, Jackson’s character is very specific about these regular things.

In real life, though, the 74-year-old is very specific about what goes into his contract, and in particular, doesn’t forget to add one clause to all his movie contracts.

What Samuel L. Jackson Requests Before Signing His Movie Contracts

Samuel L. Jackson has given Hollywood fans some of the biggest hits and unforgettable characters, with Jules Winnfield of Pulp Fiction being just one among many. As such it’s no surprise that he sits at the very top of the list of highest-grossing actors.

The Coach Carter actor’s movies have grossed more than $14 billion at the box office during his long and esteemed career, making him one of the most sought-after actors. And when you are in demand, you have the freedom to make demands, irrespective of how silly it may sound.

Jackson insists on adding a clause in his contract before putting pen to paper for new movies: the filmmakers should allow him the freedom to play golf.

“They have to let me play at least twice a week” he told CNN’s Living Golf. “Generally they either move me onto a golf course or I join a club so I can play there.”

When it comes to golfing, like his movies, Jackson seems to enjoy working with the big boys and shared his experience of playing alongside the game’s biggest legend Tiger Woods. He said: “The first time I played St. Andrews (in Scotland) I actually played with Tiger. That’s kind of a big deal.”

Sharing the golf course with Woods is certainly a big deal, but Jackson’s comments elsewhere suggest he’s too confident about his game and doesn’t shy away from boasting about his skills in his typical hilarious style.

Why Donald Trump Once Called Samuel L. Jackson Boring

The Django Unchained star was once asked if he was a better golfer than Donald Trump, to which he replied: “Oh, I am, for sure. I don’t cheat.”

As we all know, Trump likes to give as good as he gets. The Republican presidential candidate frontrunner at the time tweeted: “I don’t know Samuel L. Jackson, to best of my knowledge haven’t played golf with him, and think he does too many TV commercials — boring. Not a fan.

Jackson also once burst the golfing bubble of Michael Jordan, who has famously spent millions on owning his very own golf course named Grove XXIII.

But that was apparently not enough to improve his game to a significant level. At least that’s what Jackson’s comments suggest. He said: “Well, playing with Mike is like playing with me. I’m playing with somebody who is on my level, in a certain way. But, playing with Tiger, you’re just kind of like in awe!”

It’ll be certainly interesting to hear what MJ says about Jackson’s basketball skills. However, his acting performance in Coach Carter as a basketball coach is so good and convincing that even the great Jordan might tip his hat to his basketball knowledge.
