Universal Pictures Studio is “pleased” about Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw actor’s performance in the movie. The movie producer Hiram Garcia confirmed the above reports about this David Leitch-directed blockbuster. The film grossed $758 million at the worldwide box office over the summer. Hobbs and Shaw become the eighth highest-grossing movie of the year.

Alongside star and Seven Bucks Productions partner ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Garcia produced the first Fast & Furious spinoff. Garcia reveals about the talks about a sequel re-teaming Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw and Johnson’s Luke Hobbs. The Universal Pictures also plans to release Fast & Furious 9 into theatres in May 2020.

Garcia remembered the conversations and expressed how happy was the studio to discuss where things can layout. From his discussions, it is obvious Fast & Furious 9 is on its way and it is going to do great things, for instance. 

In a September Instagram post, The Rock declared an end to his feud with actor and producer Vin Diesel. In his gym-set video, Johnson thanked his fans all over the world for making the Hobbs and Shaw a global hit. Further, he showed gratitude by appreciating Vin Diesel for his extended support towards Hobbs & Shaw.

Fast & Furious 9

Before co-starring in Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7 and The Fate of the Furious, in 2011’s Fast Five, Johnson, boarded the franchise. Dwayne confessed his year’s long goal recently. It is to enter into the F & F franchise and contribute his work to elevate it. We can say he definitely succeeded and also build out an expansion even.

Michael Rooker and John Cena are going to join the Fast9. Justin Lin will direct both Fast & Furious 9 and 10. The two movies are set to release on May 22, 2020, and April 2, 2021, respectively.
