The Christmas classic that we still love to watch when craving a family comedy was immensely commended for its humor and of course when Culkin’s Kevin said “This is my house, I have to defend it!” The actor was moved to tears after his on-screen mother’s speech in which she acknowledged Macauley Culkin’s incredible work in Home Alone movies despite being a 10-year-old kid.

Recently Macaulay Culkin who played our favorite character little Kevin in Home Alone movies and his on-screen mother played by Catherine O’Hara another lauded actress and a remarkable contributor to the franchise reunited on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.
The Schitt’s Creek Alum’s speech moved Culkin and brought him to tears after her emotional words. O’Hara said, “The reason families all over the world can’t let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin.” while acknowledging the My Girl star. She added:
“I know you worked really hard, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do. This beautiful 10-year-old little boy was called a superstar, a moneymaker, one of the hottest leading young men in Hollywood. How does anyone survive that?”
O’Hara emphasized Culkin’s work and legacy in the Home Alone movies that still captivate audiences worldwide. The Christmas classic became a global sensation soon after its release and was immensely praised for its humor, performances, and compelling storyline.
O’Hara concluded her memorable speech by saying “Your fake mom that left you home alone not once but twice.” The stars then shared a hug and Culkin wiped his tears of happiness.
Macaulay Culkin Says He Got Everything He Desired
Acclaimed star Macaulay Culkin is indisputably an impeccable actor who rose from a child star to being one of the most talented and skillful artists in the industry. During the Hollywood Walk of Fame event, The Good Son actor told Access that:
“I mean it’s everything to me. It’s my family. Honestly, this is more important to me for the fact that my kids can see something like this…“I convinced my oldest … that he is the kid in ‘Home Alone.’ I’ll tell him, ‘Hey remember when you had yellow hair?’ and he’s like ‘Yeah, I do.”
The actor lightheartedly mentioned watching Home Alone with his children and convincing his oldest that he’s the one in the movie. Macaulay Culkin mentioned being satisfied with less spotlight on him as he grew and now is an incredible husband and father to his family.
