The actor confessed that she is totally ready for a sequel of Edge Of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise.

The British actor said in the Happy Sad Confused podcast-

“There was one that Doug [Liman] kind of slithered over to me. I mean, I would love to make it a reality but I just don’t know when or how. And how many Mission Impossibles does he [Cruise] need.”

Emily Blunt spoke about the sequel of Edge Of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise and jokingly said-

“He needs to come back to the side where you can be…like wasn’t he brilliant as the cowardly hero? Incredible.”

Speculations around the sequel of Edge Of Tomorrow are doing the rounds of the tinsel town after the massive failure of Mission Impossible 7. The Doug Liman-led sci-fi drama dealt with the actor duo fighting off an alien invasion. Made on a budget of over $175 million, the movie went on to make a box-office collection of $370.5 million

Emily Blunt On Being Called A P***y By Tom Cruise

During an interview with a reputed media outlet Entertainment Weekly in 2022, Emily Blunt spoke about her experience working with Tom Cruise in the 2014 sci-fi drama Edge Of Tomorrow. The actor also revealed that her co-star called her a p***y because she had started crying due to her heavy suit. She said-

 “It was so heavy. The first time I put it on I just started to cry in front of Tom and he didn’t know what to do. He just stared at me. I was like, ‘Tom, I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this shoot,’ and just started to cry. I said, ‘I’m just feeling a bit panicky about the whole shoot.’ He just stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and he goes, ‘Come on, stop being such a p—y, okay?'”

She further said-

“The training was intense. I did this aerial stunt on wires and I was supposed to land on my shoulder, and I landed on my face,” 

While talking about the sequel of Edge Of Tomorrow, Emily Blunt said-

“That was an amazing script, but I just don’t know what the future holds for it. I did read a script that was in really great shape, but it’s just a matter of if that can even happen now. I don’t have the straight answer on that one.”

With an IMDb rating of 7.9 out of 10, Edge Of Tomorrow is currently available on Netflix.
