Huge ‘Agatha All Along’ Season 2 Tease Is Hard to Ignore After Marvel’s Alleged Sneaky Move

Agatha All Along Season 2 might actually happen if Marvel’s alleged suspicious behavior is anything to go by. Ever since the miniseries concluded with the last two episodes airing right in time for Halloween, there has been a lot of speculation about whether or not, it will be renewed for a second season.
The show featuring Kathryn Hahn’s titular character Agatha Harkness became a bigger hit with fans each time a new episode dropped. So, obviously, fans are not ready to let go of the show just yet. If all the signs on the internet are anything to go by, they might be just an official announcement away from getting what they want.
Marvel Trying to Be Sneaky on Social Media Is Giving Fans Hope for Agatha All Along Season 2
Agatha Harkness was first introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the Disney+ show WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn’s portrayal of the character impressed fans so much that they were more than ready to watch her in a standalone show. Luckily for them, Marvel Studios served what they asked for and more.
After the spinoff was announced in late 2021, there was quite a bit of back and forth about the show’s title (which could only be Agatha’s doing, to be honest) before they ultimately settled on the one it currently has. The show, a part of MCU’s Phase 5, premiered in September this year. Besides Hahn, it stars the likes of Joe Locke, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza among others.
Recently, a fan suggested an entire storyline to be explored in the not-yet-confirmed second season of the show in a reply to a post from Marvel Studios on X. This might not have been alarming at all if another fan’s response claiming that the show is going to be renewed for a second season along with a link to this The Cinemaholic article confirming it had not been hidden by the official Marvel account.
A different X account named Cosmic Marvel claimed that the Marvel Studios account is hiding all replies claiming that Season 2 is confirmed.
Now, the question that arises here is why Marvel is putting this much effort into hiding those replies if Season 2 is not happening. In fact, doing this has only strengthened fans’ belief that a new season is in development.
Fans Have Another Sign That Agatha All Along Might Return for a Second Season
Even if Marvel Studios’ suspicious behavior on X were to be ignored, there are also other signs that point to the same thing. In the industry publication Production Weekly‘s latest issue, Agatha All Along Season 2 is noted as being one of the many projects set to kick off an official project in the coming months.
This is not to say that the publication is always right because the projects covered by it do not come with a guarantee that they will actually be confirmed by the studios. Although the outlet’s track record has not always been perfect, some details have turned out to be true.
That said, even if all the details about the show’s production mentioned in the issue might not be true, this is a sign that there is a possibility of a second season being discussed at the studio at the moment. Now, there is a long way to go from discussions to filming, but it has to start somewhere and discussion sounds like a good place to start.
