“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth”. 

“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”

Hugh Jackman’s serendipitous meeting with famous actress

The 67-year-old actress was a big name in the industry when she met Jackman on the 1995 Australian TV show Corelli set, Jackman revealed in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.  Back then, Jackman was a newbie from the drama school and played the role of Kevin Jones in the show, while his wife was in the leading role of Louisa Correlli.

“I was single when I met her, and she was single. I was happy to be single. When I met Deb, it was 10 times better than my single life. She was very beautiful. She was unbelievably fun—this energy, this spirit—irrepressible. And she had confidence in herself. I had a massive crush on her instantly.”

However, the publication does note that some of this fortune has been attributed to her husband, Jackman, since 1996.  In contrast, Jackman’s net worth is estimated at $180 million. In April, on their 27th wedding anniversary, Jackman took to social media to celebrate their oneness.

“I love you, Deb. Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. 27 YEARS!! I love you so much,” he wrote. “Together, we have created a beautiful family. And life.
