However, in a recent interview with the Radio Times, the Churchill actor backtracked from his previous statement and stated that he has sympathy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. He said-
“I’m a bit angry about that because that whole thing has been taken out of context,” Brian Cox told the Radio Times. “I actually have enormous sympathy for them.”
Brian Cox was upset with the media for the misinterpretation of his statement on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. He made headlines with his Haute Living New York interview. He was branded as anti-Prince Harry and his wife.
