Channing Tatum’s terrifying divorce from his ex-wife Jenna Dewan has really impacted his perspective on ‘marriage’. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, he has now opened up about his difficult divorce from his ex-wife. The 42-year-old White House Down actor has discussed his changed perspective on the constitution of marriage. Speaking about his first wife, whom he divorced in 2019, he admitted during the conversation that he is unsure of whether he would ever consider getting married again. The Hollywood actor and his ex-wife Dewan first got connected on the set of Step Up in 2006, and they later got married in July 2009. Four years after the birth of their daughter Everly, things started to sour up between them. This resulted in their separation and eventually turned into divorce in 2019.

Channing Tatum’s confession on remarriage after ‘super scary divorce’

The early stages of their separation were “super scary,” according to Channing Tatum. The couple wed in 2009 after meeting in 2006 on the set of Step Up. In 2013, they welcomed their daughter Everly, and in 2018, they made their separation official. The divorce’s final phase was in 2019. In other parts of his interview, he discussed his breakup with Dewan, with whom he has a nine-year-old daughter. While they had battled “for a really long time” to keep their marriage together, they both knew they “had sort of grown apart,” he confessed. The 22 Jump Street actor has since reflected on the tumultuous time, admitting that he was terrified and saying, “Your life just turns on its axis.” He admitted that “even though we both kind of knew that we had sort of grown apart, we fought for it for a really long time.”

Has Channing Tatum moved on after a ‘terrifying divorce’ from Jenna Dewan

Channing Tatum is now dating Zoë Kravtiz after moving on from a previous relationship. The actor cannot, however, remarry. “I don’t know if I’m ever going to get married again,” he previously admitted to Vanity Fair. Now he is reported to be dating his Pussy Island co-star Zo Kravitz. Their love story began when the Kiwi actress personally sought out Tatum to play Slater King in Pussy Island. The film is the thriller in which Kravitz made her directorial debut. The couple became close after collaborating on the film, going on several dates in New York City, and eventually starting dating by 2021.
