“I can’t just give away everything all at once”: Mila Kunis Reveals Why She Chose to Have Body Double for Nude Scenes in Friends With Benefits
Mila Kunis is a very talented Hollywood actress who has appeared in many romcoms and TV series. She has also been the voice actor for the character Meg Griffin in the popular cartoon series The Family Guy. Kunis has appeared in many popular romantic comedies like Friends With Benefits, That 70s Show, and Ted. Different actors have different approaches to shooting bold scenes. As shocking as it might sound some actors ask for body doubles to shoot n*de scenes.
Actors using body doubles for action scenes is a common thing unless the actor is Tom Cruise. Apparently, the usage of body doubles for bold scenes is also a thing.
Why Did Mila Kunis Request A Body Double For Revealing Scenes?
The Friends With Benefits actress revealed in an interview that she asked for a body double for her n*de scenes. A fact that the fans were unaware of is that Kunis was living the movie in real life with Ashton Kutcher at the time of the movie. She also revealed that separate auditions were held to cast a body double for her backside. The Ted actress also shared,
“They were in a casting room and I was there, the director and the casting director and my makeup artist were there. And these lovely women had to show us their derrieres and we chose the one that resembled my body the most without looking like it’s fake.”
The reason Kunis gave for casting a body double perfectly made sense. She explained that she didn’t want to overexpose herself in the movie. She jokingly said, “I showed side-boob, and I figured I can’t just give away everything all at once, I gotta let it all out in little pieces here and there.”

Justin Timberlake Did Not Mind Shooting N*de Scenes
While Justin Timberlake’s Friends With Benefits co-actor requested a body double, the actor did not feel the same for himself. He shared, “I only did it because I’m young now, and everything’s where it’s supposed to be,”. He also added, “I figured this is the time before gravity gets the best of me.”. The movie was declared a hit despite minor hiccups behind the scenes.
The actors revealed that they had a great experience on the set while shooting for the film. Although Kunis was not into the script at first, it turned out to be fine after re-writing. The actress when asked about the script shared,
“When I got the script it was very dated but I knew it made for a funny movie so I took a meeting with Will Gluck. Will, Justin, and I went out to dinner and that’s when we realized we wanted the same thing for the movie.”
The movie turned a decent profit as its budget was $35 million and reportedly it made $149.5 million on the screens.
