“I can’t put the f—king wig on again”: Miley Cyrus Reveals Her First Sexual Experience That Made Her Quit Hannah Montana to Become a Global Pop Icon
Miley Ray Cyrus, a singer, songwriter, and actress, made her television debut with Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel when she was just 12 years old. However, by the time she was in her late teens, acting as a child star didn’t feel the same as it did when she was younger. The singer and actress can thank the show for helping launch her career as a superstar.
The S*x and The City 2 (LEG) actor started her career in 2006 and worked as the pop princess Hannah Montana for five years, which she later referred to as “long years.”
The 30-year-old celebrity recalled her desire to work on and as Hannah Montana in an interview with Elle Magazine that was published on July 11, 2019. Cyrus gave an account of the time she made the decision to stop working on the Disney Channel show. While she now feels “proud” of the work she has done, she was also aware that her days as ‘Hannah Montana’ were coming to an end at that time.

The High School Musical 2 star has always been vocal about her time on the show since the series wrapped up in 2011.
Having s*x made Miley Cyrus feel “weird” about playing ‘Hannah Montana’
Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Moises Arias were among the leading actors in the much-loving musical series. This was the tale of a girl in her teens who truly had the best of both worlds. The Chasing Happiness actor confessed in an interview for Elle’s August cover story that having s*x was the turning point for her.
“It felt ridiculous,” she admitted. “I was kind of like, ‘I can’t put the f*cking wig on again. It got weird. It just felt like…I was grown up. “
In 2010, LOL (Laughing Out Loud) actor rose to fame after a video of her smoking salvia at a party surfaced. When the “scandal” started during the final season of Hannah Montana, Cyrus was still retaining some of her innocent teen girl Disney personas. Obviously, the audience and the parents weren’t surprised. I made a mistake,” the singer said in a later apology. “I’m disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans.”
Later on, Cyrus experienced even more shocking incidents, including her n*ked Wrecking Ball video. However, she now feels “I actually have the respect that I want” in regard to her music and public persona.
Why did ‘Hannah Montana’ come to an end in 2011?
The character of ‘Miley Stewart’ was your typical Californian teen during the day, but when night fell, she transformed into the pop princess ‘Hannah Montana’ and performed in front of countless crowds. The Hannah Montana Movie, a hugely successful spinoff film, was born out of the show’s enormous popularity.
Hannah Montana was well-known for their catchy songs, which were performed by the star (Miley Cyrus) herself, and for the meaningful lessons; mostly based on the value of friendship. Even though the cast and the original viewers are now adults, there is still some hope for a huge comeback.
Disney Channel’s Totally New Year actress even discussed her desire to emerge from her Hannah Montana shell and leave the show during the interview for her Elle Magazine 2019 cover story.
But, later, Cyrus expressed her interest in bringing her Hannah character back, even though there is currently no plan for a reboot. The cast hasn’t said anything about playing their Disney Channel characters again, with the exception of Billy Ray Cyrus and Flowers hitmaker.
The singer is, however, definitely eager to don that blonde wig again.
