“I consider myself like the last of dinosaurs”: 77-Year-Old Sylvester Stallone is Not Taking One Thing For Granted After Decades in Hollywood

While Stallone walked down the red carpet at TIFF 2023, promoting his upcoming documentary Sly, the actor provided a glimpse into his nearly five-decades-long journey while maintaining a humble and grounded perspective.

Sylvester Stallone Says He Is the Last of The Dinosaur

In the evolving world of Hollywood, the career of Sylvester Stallone stands as the symbol of timeless resilience and unrelenting passion for his craft. After working in some of the biggest franchises like Rambo and Rocky the Oscar-nominated actor has shared a rather humble perspective on his career.

While Stallone walked down the red carpet at TIFF 2023, the actor provided a glimpse into this career. Even though Stallone has been in the industry for more than 50 years all he had was gratitude for where he is today. While promoting his upcoming documentary Sly on the red carpet with ET Canada the actor said that it would be very immodest of him to say he was prepared for this.

As reported by ET Canada, Stallone said “I mean, that would be very immodest. It’s like, really, you can’t be prepared for this.” Further talking about this the actor says he considers himself to be the last of Dinosaurs and he is very proud of it. “I consider myself like the last of dinosaurs, you know what I mean? And I’m very proud of that… But yeah, you have to really think about that. It’s incredible. Yeah, it is. I don’t take it for granted, but I really want to spend it with my loved ones. The majority of what’s left.”

These words of Stallone have the fans awe-struck to see such a big star be humbled by his success.

What is Sly All About?

To celebrate the bigger-than-life career of Sylvester Stallone, the documentary Sly is being made. This documentary is said to delve into the 50 years of Stallone’s acting and directing career and will also uncover some of his inspirational underdog stories with the indelible characters that he has played on the silver screen.
