Shameik Moore Prepared To Play Live-Action Miles
Moore has been very vocal about his desire to play Miles Morales in the live-action version. However, since Moore declared his intention, there has been much criticism on the web. It seems that many people aren’t happy with the idea and doubt that the actor is not fit enough to play the role of Miles Morales.
Moore posted on Instagram that he was ready to “lose weight so y’all can see Miles more clearly.” Following this, he posted on Twitter yesterday, “I didn’t realize y’all were haters like this, lol.” Shameik Moore has shared his idea of playing the character of Miles Morales in the upcoming movie that is being planned by Sony. Still, many fans have resisted the statement saying he is too old to play a teenage character in the live-action MCU movie.
After the tweet, reactions, and comments poured in from fans and industry-related personalities. However, one reply sounded optimistic for Shameik Moore, playing the teenage Miles Morales quoting an example of how Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were older than he was when they played a similarly-aged Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
As Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is all set to enter into its second weekend in theaters, you can listen to Shameik Moore reprise the told of Miles Morales in the final installment of the Spider-Verse trilogy, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is slated to be released on March 29, 2024.
