Long before Kaley Cuoco took up the role in The Big Bang Theory, she was a ranked amateur tennis player. However, she gave up the sport she had played for almost 13 years of her life to pursue a career in acting, and it is safe to say that she has been beyond successful in that line of profession.

While Cuoco was still on the sitcom, she started a production company known as Yes, Norman Productions. The company has produced the animated TV series, Harley Quinn in which the 38-year-old voices the titular DC character. Additionally, it has also produced the show The Flight Attendant and her lead role has earned her nominations at the Golden Globes and Primetime Emmys.

Fast forward to this year, she had started her online pet care line known as Oh Norman! During her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she revealed how she took it a little too far to make sure that her company’s best-selling product is edible for humans as well.

If your dog is super-hyper, it’s called Calm the Eff Down! Just FYI, I did try it when we started this because I wanted to make sure I could say that—I didn’t want, like, humans to, like, die. I wanted to make sure we could take it. I took it, and I was out for three hours.

She then made sure to caution the audience from actually trying the product and emphasized that it is made of natural things so it is good for the pets. Elsewhere in the interview, she also confirmed that she has a dog named Hoagie on the company’s team.

Penny was never the one with a high IQ like her friends, but she had the kind of street smartness and courage needed to risk it all and try new things. This was proved many times throughout the show when she did not show any hesitation in calling her friends out or even resigning from her stable job.

For instance, in the seventh episode The Panty Piñata Polarization of Season 2, she refused to go with Sheldon’s “three-strike rule” and puts up a good fight when he tries to ban her from visiting his apartment which he shares with his best friend, Leonard, who is also her boyfriend.

In the eighteenth episode The Work Song Nanocluster of the same season, Penny starts her own business to sell flower barrettes called ‘Penny Blossoms.’ Unfortunately, the business does not last long, but it was a good shot at exploring entrepreneurship. She was also actively pursuing a career in acting despite the difficulties she was facing in getting a breakthrough.
