“I don’t know what they are doing”: Deadpool 2 Star Subtly Slams Ryan Reynolds for Ditching Her in Threequel
Since the announcement of Deadpool 3, talks about the appearance of their Marvel characters particularly from X-Men have been in the air. It is already known that the upcoming film will see Wolverine in the main role alongside Deadpool/Wade Wilson. Apart from that reports say that other X-Men characters, such as Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops will also be a part of the story.
However, at the same time, a character from the previous Deadpool movie, the ever-lucky Domino (Zazie Beetz) is reportedly not coming back in the threequel. Beetz recently broke the news which was a lingering question among their fans for a long while.
Zazie Beetz Reveals Whether she would Be Reprising Her Role as Domino In Deadpool 3 or Not
If there was one character that stole the show in Deadpool 2, it was Domino played by Zazie Beetz. Her character quickly became a fan favorite. But since the announcement of the third installment of Deadpool, it has come to light that the Anti-hero is set to join MCU.
As many of the X-Men characters are set to be a part of the story along with Wolverine, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) a.k.a Deadpool will be crossing paths with the MCU characters. However, many have been curious whether the character of Domino would be returning or not and Beetz recently cleared that up by sharing with Decider,
“Well, I’m actually not in Deadpool 3, so I don’t know what they’re doing”
It is unfortunate news for the fans that were looking forward to seeing her reprise her role in the upcoming threequel. Only last year she seemed hopeful for Domino’s return to the screen with Deadpool 3. Unfortunately, that did not age well.
However, apart from her fans will get to watch a lot of other beloved characters from X-Men such as Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops along with MCU’s most popular Wolverine. It is rumored that the same cast will be reprising their roles including Hugh Jackman.
More on the Upcoming Deadpool 3
The previous two films Deadpool (2016) and the sequel (2018) mainly focused on Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and his journey of becoming the loudmouthed anti-hero Deadpool. However, it has never been a part of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
But now with the introduction of the multiverse, it is not difficult to join all the Marvel characters into each other’s stories. Exactly that way, Deadpool is finally joining the MCU as he crosses paths with MCU hero Wolverine in the upcoming film. Wilson will time travel to heal himself which will cause the two characters to come across each other.
Deadpool 3 is slated to release on 7th November 2024.
