While the legal battle between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez continues, her boyfriend has shared his support through his social media. Pardison Fontaine took to his Instagram and shared stories and made a statement on the tough situation the Savage singer and other women frequently encounter when deciding to seek justice.

He wrote,

“When you do find the courage to speak up.. it seems you will be ridiculed.. your credibility will [be] questioned.. your entire past will be held under a magnifying glass.. in an instant, you can go from victim to defendant in the eyes of the public.”

The rapper felt bad for the women, especially the women of color, who could have to endure injustice. He also confessed to having respect towards such women as his girlfriend. He further wrote,

“To anyone with a daughter, sister, mother, niece or aunt.. I pray for their protection.. I pray for their covering.. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.”

The 32-year singer repeated the points once stated by Sweetest Pie singer about victim shaming. According to him, the public’s perception of someone changes from victim to defendant in an instant.

The Hot Girl Summer singer accused Daystar Peterson of shooting her on foot in July 2020 after a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house. According to the songwriter’s testimony, the shooting started while she, Kelsey Nicole, Lanez, and his bodyguard were returning from a party. During her testimony, she claimed of being terrified during the incident.

The three-time Grammy winner also shared how difficult it was to talk about the incident. During the second week of the trial, she talked about the lack of support she received from the male-dominant hip-hop community. The Ungrateful rapper confessed that every man who had a position and power in the music industry took the side of the Say It rapper.

The Los Angles jury on Friday found the Canadian rapper guilty of shooting Stallion in foot.
