This seems to be the case with The Bear stars Jeremy Allen White and Abby Elliott. The two actors play brother and sister Carmy and Natalie “Sugar” in the show. So far, the pair has been able to pull off the roles nicely.
And with the show’s popularity, the second season premiered on the 22nd of June recently. But before this, Elliott opened up about her off-screen relationship with her on-screen brother. As far as it is concerned the sibling chemistry seems to extend to the off-screen scenario.

It turns out that not only are The Bear stars Jeremy Allen White and Abby Elliott on-screen siblings but even their off-screen chemistry has full-on sibling energy. Recently Elliott opened up about how much love and adoration she has for White in the People magazine. The actress said,
“I feel like Jeremy could be my brother in real life”
According to her, both of them even resemble a particular family member from each other’s family. Elliott shared that White seemed to resemble her grandfather in his younger days while she appeared to have a similar look to her co-stars’s real sister.
This was undoubtedly a weird but interesting realization for the two actors. Moreover, apart from resembling each other’s family members, the pair seemingly had no trouble getting into the sibling rhythm for the show.
In other words, their roles as Carmy and Sugar felt natural. And as for the second season, Elliott shared that the new season will be focusing on a lot of characters that viewers are possibly curious about.
What is The Bear Series All About?
Fx hit show The Bear is a comedy-drama that centers around a chef named Carmy from the fine-dining world. He is forced to return home after the death of a family member and has to take over a local sandwich shop along with his sister Natalie or Sugar. Since it came out back in June last year, the show has received a lot of love from viewers and critics alike.
Jeremy Allen White who plays the role of Carmy has even received the Critics Choice Awards, The Golden Globe, etc. The season premiered recently on June 22nd with 10 episodes in total. And The Bear season 2 is available for streaming on Hulu.
