Directed by Michael Bay, although the movie is a badge of excellence in Hartnett’s career, he still kind of hesitates to talk about the movie due to one embarrassing scene that he faced while shooting for the same.
The Serendipity Actress Left Josh Hartnett Shell-Shocked With A Questionable Move
Josh Hartnett played the role of Captain Danny Walker in Pearl Harbor alongside Kate Beckinsale, who played the role of Lieutenant Evelyn Johnson. The film demanded both the actors to shoot a s*x scene with each other inside a parachute.
On the day when both the actors were meant to shoot the intimate scene, Beckinsale surprisingly brought her one-year-old daughter and boyfriend to the set. As soon as Hartnett saw who the spectators were that day, he couldn’t even react properly to the situation. In a recent interview with ELLE, he said:
I felt terrible the whole day. That was super embarrassing, thanks Kate.
Even though it was the requirement of the movie, it was absolutely weird for Hartnett to engage himself s*xually with Beckinsale in front of her little daughter and boyfriend. That’s the reason he admitted that although he has a lot of embarrassing moments, none of them affected him as heavily as this.
Despite the hardship that Hartnett faced during the filming, the movie turned out to be a critical and commercial success. It grossed $449.2 million at the global box office (via Box Office Mojo), which made it the sixth highest-grossing movie of the year. It was also nominated for four Academy Awards, including one for Best Picture.
Josh Hartnett Was Left Stunned After Attending A Taylor Swift Concert With His Family
Right after Hartnett described his embarrassing moment with Kate Beckinsale while shooting for Pearl Harbor, he was asked by the interviewer about his last concert experience. In response, the actor said that he attended a Taylor Swift concert with his wife and two of his children. He found the concert far more exciting than he had initially expected.
It was surprisingly exciting. I was definitely not prepared for the Taylor Swift experience.
Hartnett was mesmerized by the crowd of almost 90000 concert-goers at the Wembley Stadium, out of which almost everybody knew the lyrics. When he was further asked if he got any bracelets during the show, he mentioned that although he didn’t get any, his kids got a lot of them.
