Despite the actor’s rekindled romance with Jennifer Lopez, the Batman star will never give up on his other love, Dunkin’ Donuts, as he cannot resist its lure. Even though the Marry Me singer is highly health conscious, she indulged in her husband’s favorite food chain. One month ago, Dunkin’ Donuts’ meme king teamed up with the food chain for an alleged commercial as he was spotted taking and serving orders at the drive-thru outlet. However, the commercial rumors were true as during the Super Bowl Halftime Show break, the highly anticipated commercial aired, finally confirming Ben Affleck’s love for Dunkin’ Donuts.
Since the shooting was conducted through hidden cameras to capture realistic expressions of people, the actor surprised Dunkin’ Donuts customers a month ago. In a 30-second humorous advertisement, he presented a realistic angle of working at a food chain and surprised his fans. The actor discussed his experience with the ad in an interview, as many of his fans seemed displeased with the ad.
Jennifer Lopez Caught Ben Affleck Working In Dunkin’ Donuts
This Is Me … Now star Jennifer Lopez reprimanded her husband, Ben Affleck, yet again, but this time over a hilarious Dunkin’ Donuts Super Bowl advertisement. Yes, this time, the duo was featured in a highly anticipated commercial aired during the 2023 Super Bowl. During the 30-second clip, the actor took orders from real-life customers while working at a drive-through in Medford, Massachusetts.
At one point in the commercial, JLo caught her husband working at Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru outlet and asked,
“What are you doing? Is that what you do when you say you’re going to work all day?”
When Affleck saw his wife at the counter in the advertisement, he became disappointed and said, “I gotta go, guys.”
Then, JLo placed her order furiously in the ad and said, “Grab me the Glaze.”
The actress looked as stunning as she drove up in a big white SUV to the outlet’s window wearing a white puffer jacket. At the same time, Affleck acted as the perfect Dunkin’ employee, wearing a visor hat and a T-shirt bearing the Dunkin’ logo, which says, “America Runs On Dunkin’.”
The video shows Affleck surprising unassuming customers by taking their orders with a hidden camera recording him. It appears that Affleck’s Grammys 2023 bored face memes have faded since the release of his hilarious commercial. Fans will not spare him from making new Dunkin’ Donuts memes after his official commercial for the food chain.
Ben Affleck Received Colorful Boston Backlash: What Did He Feel About It?
Customers reacted in various ways to his appearance, with some even stating that they did not recognize him when they spotted Affleck working at Boston’s Dunkin’. Due to hidden cameras recording the moments, customers were unaware they were being recorded for an advertisement. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, the Batman star discussed the reactions he received and how some people almost expected him to work at Dunkin’. Being a native of Massachusetts and raised in Cambridge, Affleck was often seen drinking the chain’s coffee with and without his family.
According to Affleck, some customers were dissatisfied with the quality of Dunkin’ service he provided, and he received colorful Boston backlash as Boston people could not tolerate the inferior quality of their services, especially when it comes to Dunkin’ Donuts.
Affleck said during the interview,
“It’s Boston, after all, so we had some rather coarse and agitated people who were willing to voice their displeasure in a colorful way. And I’m still lobbying to include the most interesting of those in some of the edgiest social spots.”
The company will run the scenes that did not make the Super Bowl advertisement on its social media channels. Per reports, Dunkin’ will also air the ad in the coming weeks. During the hidden-camera commercial directed by Affleck, he was seen taking orders in a cartoonishly non-rhotic accent and includes a cameo by his wife, Jennifer Lopez.
