The Israelian model turned actor Gal Gadot is the official Wonder Woman of Holywood. She rose to fame with the DC superhero franchise in 2017. She has been a significant part of the reputed action drama franchise Fast And Furious too.

Recently the actor made headlines with her spy action drama Heart Of Stone. She is seen playing the character of a spy Rachel Stone in the Netflix movie. The actor had to bear a significant number of injuries during the filming of the action sequences for Heart Of Stone. 

 

Gal Gadot On The Preparation For The Character Of Rachel Stone In Heart Of Stone

Gal Gadot’s Heart Of Stone had been the talk of the tinsel town way before its release in August. The actor is a self-proclaimed action lover and during an interview with the reputed media outlet The Sun, she spoke about the preparation that was required for the character of Rachel Stone. She pointed out the painful injuries she was subjected to. She said-

“I remember one Sunday I was walking with the girls in the park in London and someone looked at me weirdly. I was wearing a summer dress, oblivious to the fact my legs and back were completely bruised. I was with my daughters and people were looking at me like something was off.”

She further added-

“But it’s inevitable I have a number of injuries from those physical roles.

She even mentioned having four damaged disks in her back and neck. While talking about her favorite part of the movie, Gal Gadot claimed that she loves action movies and enjoys doing the fight sequences. The Heart Of Stone also features Jamie Dornan, Indian actor Alis Bhatt, and Matthias Schweighöfer

Gal Gadot On How Heart Of Stone Would Not Have Existed Without Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot believes that without Wonder Woman the Heart Of Stone would not have existed. During an interview with the notable media outlet Entertainment Weekly, the Justice League actor spoke about women-centric movies and that she had always wanted to be a part of an all-female-led action project. She said-

“So many male-led films were made brilliantly, and I just always felt like there’s room for more female-led films. BondMission: ImpossibleBourne IdentityDie Hard — these movies I devour, and I always wanted to play one.”

She further explained-

“I had an ‘aha!’ moment. I was like, ‘Wait for a second, men go to see [women-led action films too]. We can [make more], so let’s do it.’ I got some confidence and we decided we’re going to start and develop Heart of Stone.”

While talking about what drew her toward the character of Rachel Stone, the actor pointed out-

“I really wanted to tell a story of a real person that goes through a crazy journey and is told from a female perspective. That was something that excited me, that I wanted to show, that I felt like I hadn’t seen enough.

According to the Red Notice star, she has always felt drawn toward confident female characters and that is quite evident in her previous projects like Wonder Woman and Fast And Furious.

Heart of Stone is currently streaming on Netflix.
