Margot Robbie rose to fame with Martin Scorsese’s biographical drama The Wolf Of Wall Street in 2013. She played the character of Naomi Lapaglia, the love interest of Jordan Belfort portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio. During an interview with a reputed media outlet The New York Times in 2013, the Barbie star spoke about doing her first intimate scene with Leonardo Dicaprio. Margot Robbie revealed that she literally had to take the help of tequila to keep her nervousness at bay. She said-
“I had three shots of tequila, and then I took off my clothes and did the scene, I was fine. It helped my hands from shaking and gave me a bit of confidence.”
She could give a perfect shot only after having three shots of tequila. During a conversation with Grazia in 2021, the Babylon actor was asked about the intimate scenes with The Revenant star. She pointed out-
“It was intimidating leading up to it knowing that I had to do it but when you get to the day, it’s your job and the sooner you get it done the sooner you can get your clothes back on. Everyone is really great about it and approaches it very professionally, making it as easy and comfortable as they can. It’s not new to anyone on a film set, so for me it was intimidating but for everyone else, it was just another day at the office.”
Margot Robbie was just 22 years old when she got her breakthrough project The Wolf Of Wall Street alongside an already-established star Leonardo DiCaprio.

Margot Robbie and Leonardo DiCaprio have given one of the best biographical dramas of all time- The Wolf Of Wall Street. During an interview with Grazia in 2021, the Australian actor spoke about the Martin Scorsese-led project and her experience of working with one of the most well-known actors of all time. She said-
“He’s an incredible actor … But he’s also a really awesome, down-to-earth person so it was a really lovely experience. I was very fortunate.”
While talking about meeting the Titanic star for the first time during the audition, she recalled-
“It was at an audition. I was more nervous about my audition so I didn’t have time to worry about, ‘Oh I’m about to meet Leo and Marty [Martin Scorsese]’. It was all so last minute that I didn’t have time to be nervous about the whole process. That was probably a good thing in hindsight.”
The Wolf Of Wall Street went on to make $406.9 million against a budget of $100 million. With an IMDb rating of 8.2 out of 10, The Wolf Of Wall Street is currently available on Amazon Prime Video.
