“I have tried my best”: Britney Spears’ Mother Begs For A Private Conversation, Says She Feels Hopeless After Countless Rejections From Britney
Britney Spears has undoubtedly gone through a lot in the last few years. In addition to having to cope with the conservatorship, she has also come under fire and hatred from her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. The ex also published videos of her yelling at her sons in an effort to paint her as a bad mother and add insult to injury.
However, that is all water under the bridge as the singer has moved past all of the chaos of her past trying to leech off of her. Especially with the release of her new song which was a collab with Elton John, Hold Me Closer. After seemingly escaping the drama she has been facing for the past years, her mother has recently attempted to reach out to her in an attempt to patch up things between the two of them.
Britney Spears releases new song after 6 years
The artist and Elton John‘s latest single, Hold Me Closer, is now ascending the charts. Even though fans anticipated her performance at the forthcoming 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, she won’t be singing the new single. Given that Britney Spears just left her conservatory, this song might mark the start of her new era. Sources have also previously claimed that the singer is putting a lot of effort into creating a new album for her followers.
The singer calls out her mother for being inactive in a time of need
Lynne Spears, Britney Spears’ mother, responded to the singer’s surprising assertions in a recent audio message, in which she said she was “more angry” with her mother for abandoning her while she was under conservatorship.
“I heard when reporters would call her [Lynne Spears] at the time and ask questions of what was going on, she would innocently hide in the house and she wouldn’t speak up. It was always, like, ‘I don’t know what to say. I just don’t want to say the wrong thing. We’re praying for her.’” said the singer as she talked about the family drama that she has finally been able to move on from.
The action of looking the other way when one is well aware of all the injustice and torture that one person is going through is horrible enough as it is. However, it is made ten times worse knowing that this was done by a mother to her own daughter for years.
Britney Spear’s mother seeks some level of communication with her daughter
Lynne Spears responded to her daughter’s accusations on Instagram, posting a picture of herself and Britney Spears together. The mother even asked for a “private” face-to-face meeting with her daughter to resolve their differences. The Instagram post caption read the following:
“Britney, your whole life I have tried my best to support your dreams and wishes! And also, I have tried my best to help you out of hardships! I have never and will never turn my back on you! Your rejections to the countless times I have flown out and calls make me feel hopeless! I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is for you and me only, eye to eye, in private.”
Even though the singer has moved on from all the drama that was caused by her family, it seems that Lynne Spears wants to give it a second shot with her daughter and set some things straight between them. Only time can tell if the mother of Britney Spears truly means well or if is this just another controversial drama piece waiting to happen.
