Matt Damon let his emotions be known about how he is at odds with Jimmy Kimmel.  While promoting his upcoming movie Oppenheimer with his friend and co-star, Emily Blunt, played a fun game of Agree to Disagree for an interview. Obviously, obviously, all day long. F*ck Jimmy Kimmel!

This statement of his shocked his co-player Blunt. And claimed he is bitter as Kimmel has never let him on his show. Damon admits that Kimmel’s one action has caused him to turn a blind eye to the whole matter and Kimmel’s behavior.

“My opinion of him slightly softened when I heard he was paying his entire staff through the writers’ strike.”

Damon is referring to the 2007-2008 writers’ strikes. At that time, talk show hosts had taken the initiative to pay lower-level employees from their own pocket. Kimmel was the forebearer of this drive. As thoughtful an action as this is extremely heartwarming and caused Kimmel to earn some serious brownie points in Damon’s eyes. Post this interview, if ever Damon happens to be on Jimmy Kimmel Live! , this faux-feud and joking begrudging will surely make an interesting point of conversation.
