The actress has a whopping net worth of $45 million, yet she fears that she won’t have enough money if a movie doesn’t gross well. She even mentioned that she equally splits bills with her husband, Dwyane Wade, who has a net worth of $170 million. The actress shared,
“I think I just have more responsibilities for my money. So, I get nervous. ‘ Oh God, that movie didn’t open; what does that mean? Am I going to have enough to hold everybody up?’ I’m trying to find peace in the journey and not using my anxiety and scarcity mindset to be my engine, which is hard.”
The Truth Be Told actress further shared the reason for her fiscal anxiety. The 50-year-old actress explained that she has to take care of people who are financially dependent on her. This financial obligation gives her the motivation to work hard to ensure that everyone is taken care of. The actress emphasized,
“It’s weird to say I’m head of household because in this household we split everything 50/50. But in the other households, each of us has to support, there’s always this gorilla on your back. And it’s hard. It’s hard to let that go.”
