The internet was in shock upon learning the news of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s split and their fans who were once rooting for their love were left wondering as to why the couple called it quits. Kim K and Davidson were first spotted together, hand-in-hand, in October 2021. Soon after that, the couple made their romance official. The pair garnered immense media attention and Davidson also made a quick appearance in The Kardashians. But the question that why the two split was still a topic of interest for many.
Kim K recently decided to open up about her split with Pete Davidson during the premiere of the third season of The Kardashians, which aired on 25th May. Kim K was discussing her breakup with sister Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney K’s former partner, Scott Disick. She said, “I’m single and I’m not ready to mingle and that’s OK. Breakups are just like, not my thing.” The lawyer in making then spoke about her feeling guilty after her split, as Pete Davidson had to go through a lot because of their relationship because of her ex-husband, Kanye West.
Sources claimed that the main reason for their split was their busy schedules and because the relationship lost its spark. It was also said that Kim K and Davidson had tons of chemistry but the actress felt that she was not ready to enter into serious affairs with the 28-year-old actor.

The SKIMS owner revealed that her current focus after the split is her children and her business endeavors. In the new episode of The Kardashians, Kim K shared the difficulty of dating in the public eye during lunch with Scott Disick. Disick tried to dig into Kardashian’s current dating scenario, to which the mother of 4 children replied,
“Well, it’s just hard because what do those first dates look like? Behind doors, can’t go out. It’s kind of awkward.” She continued, “Here’s the thing, if you are seen with someone, then if it’s starting to not work out, you almost have to try to make it work a little longer because you’re so embarrassed that it was so quick,”
Taking forward the conversation, the socialite said, “I just want to sneak around a little bit. Like, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to sneak.” And as few close sources report, the 42-year-old model is secretly sneaking around with a mystery man whom Disick nicknamed Fred. Kardashian has made it clear from her end that she has moved on from her last breakup with Davidson and is currently happy with her new date.
