Mike Tyson Has Revealed His Hatred Towards Michael Jackson Before They Became Pals
Boxing icon, Mike Tyson has recently revealed that he hated Michael Jackson’s guts after a backstage snub at one of the late pop legend’s concerts. During the late 80s and early 90s, Tyson also known as the Baddest Man on The Planet, was one of the most recognizable and biggest names in the world and the other person to enjoy similar popularity and spotlight was the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. However, the two did not kick off their friendship on a very friendly note. Rather, Tyson hated Jackson in the beginning.
Speaking on T.I.’s expediTIously podcast, the former world champion said:
“I met Mike one day, I think he was at a concert in Cleveland, I’m with Don King. “So me and Don come in, right? And I’m champ and everything, did all this s***, undisputed. So Don goes and Don gives Michael Jackson the ‘peace’ sign, like this. And then so Michael gives Don the ‘peace’ sign, and so I give Michael the ‘peace’ sign, and Michael put his hand down. “In a way, I say, ‘Did he play me? Nah, he didn’t play me, he just didn’t see me. I knew he didn’t play me, cause I’m f***ing champ.”
Though the two continued the show but the series of disrespect continued.
Mike Tyson Says Hulu Stole His Life Story for Mike Series
Mike Tyson has expressed his disdain for the new Hulu biopic series about his life. Last year in August, Tyson aired his grievances against Hulu and the series through his Instagram sharing two posts with strong words against the streamer.
One of his posts criticizing Hulu read,
“Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022. They stole my life story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu executives I’m just a n****r they can sell on the auction block.”
Tyson previously alleged on Twitter that Hulu offered UFC president Dana White millions of dollars to promote the show though White turned it down and instead chose to honor his friendship. Tyson has been critical of Mike since the project was first announced in February 2021.
