Anne Hathaway, one of the most well-known actors, found herself in a heated debate on social media platforms regarding her reaction to a reporter’s questions that reportedly concerned her conversation with iconic fashion editor Anna Wintour.

Anne Hathaway is well known for her performance as Andy Sachs in the 2006 comedy The Devil Wears Prada. Even after all of these years Hathaway has to face questions in regards to the movie and her experience. However, much to the fans’ surprise, despite all the fame that Hathaway has ever received from this movie, she openly expressed her dislike towards filming The Devil Wears Prada movie as well as how she does not like to express her thoughts about a fan theory. A little while ago Anne Hathaway was asked about Anna Wintour and her response is still being talked about today.

It is all dated back to the time in 2022 when Anne Hathway was on the red carpet of the Women in Hollywood event which was hosted by Elle Magazine. During her interaction with the reporters at this event, Anne Hathway talked about Anna Wintour and said they talked about The Devil Wears Prada. However, this did not satisfy the reporter as the journalist went ahead pushing Hathway to say more.
Pushing Hathway the journalist said, “I’m a fan and I need to know.” They wanted Hathaway to explain everything that Wintour told her. The actress didn’t want to explain more, and she didn’t seem pleased that she was being put in this position. Hathaway said, “I know, but you weren’t there.”
This reaction of Anne Hathway was criticized by a lot of fans and social media users eventually setting up a course of internet debate.

Critics suggested that a simple no would also have been sufficient rather than being top-right rude to the poor journalist.
