Things became scary last year for Rexha when a concert in New York turned violent. Someone in the crowd hurled a phone at her, hitting her right on the eye! It left her shaken and needing immediate medical care. Now, In a recent incident, the 34-year-old made it clear she won’t tolerate being pelted with objects on stage. Rexha even threatened to press charges.

During Titletown District’s Summer Fun Days Showcase on June 1, 2024 outside Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis, Bebe Rexha recently had some people removed from her show. It came after they threw things at her while she was on stage.

When the songstress said, “If you wanna hit me in the face, I pressed charges to the other guy — I would love to become richer,” she meant that if someone wants to hurt her or throw things at her, she won’t tolerate it. The Brooklyn native mentioned pressing charges against someone else in the past for doing something similar. Rexha even joked that if people keep doing it, she’ll end up with more money from winning legal cases.

This wasn’t the first time the singer had been targeted by unruly fans. A New Jersey man also faced charges after throwing his phone at Bebe during her concert in New York last year. The then 27-year-old Nicolas Malvagna was arraigned for misdemeanor assault and harassment.

According to court documents, Malvagna claimed (as reported by LA Times) he threw the phone “for entertainment” in an attempt to hit the artist. The phone struck Rexha in the face, causing swelling, bruising, and a cut above her eye. Thankfully, she was treated at a hospital and released in stable condition.

Singer Bebe Rexha shared her experience with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) — a hormonal disorder affecting many women. In a recent TikTok video (via USA Today), Rexha responded to a fan’s question about her PCOS symptoms.

She described dealing with irregular periods, weight gain, and breakouts—all common PCOS symptoms. The I’m a Mess star also revealed a recent scare with a painful cyst. “I was in so much pain,” Rexha said, “My doctor thought it was appendicitis. It was so bad. It was actually a cyst that had burst.” The songwriter added that even over-the-counter pain relievers like Tylenol and Advil weren’t effective for the severe pain she experienced.
