Amid all the rumors focused on her dating life, Emily Ratajkowski recently became the face of Viktor and Rolf’s “Flowerbomb” fragrance. The iconic fragrance is a very familiar smell for the supermodel as she shared how her family members were also familiar with the smell. The My Body author shared that growing up she saw her mother use the same fragrance. And with time her taste in the type of smell she prefers has also changed according to the model. While discussing the perfume Ratajkowski also stumbled into the topic of men. She revealed her dislike for heavily scented men with full-on cologne.
Emily Ratajkowski’s Preferred Smell on Men
It is no doubt that Emily Ratajkowski has been in the tabloids especially linked to her dating life for the past months. However, amid all the rumors linking her to various people, the model now has a new gig. She has been chosen as the face of perfume brand Viktor and Rolf’s iconic fragrance Flowerbomb. Ratajkowski can be seen in the video for the brand’s latest campaign shot by Inez and Vinoodh. Following this, she sat with People magazine to discuss her new gig. The My Body author discussed the Flowerbomb fragrance by describing it as “iconic”. The perfume has a touch of Freesia, Jasmine, Vanilla, and Patchouli. Ratajkowski also used the word “ultra-wearable” while talking about the fragrance. According to her, it is one of the most familiar smells as growing up her mother used the same. She said,
“Flowerbomb is a fragrance everybody knows. I grew up knowing it.”
Moreover, the My Body author described the smell as feminine but not overly sweet. However, amid all the talk about fragrances, She also stumbled upon the topic of what type of smell she preferred on men. As she herself prefers a more minimalistic smell in the present, Ratajkowski shared that it was the same for her when it came to men. She revealed that she does not like it when men put on too much scent. And added that,
“I say that and maybe I’ll live to regret it, but I like the smell. I like pheromones. I like getting a sense of somebody based on their smell.”
Furthermore, the High Low podcast host shared that florals were her preferred smell of choice nowadays.
