“I thought things were calming down”: Olivia Wilde Accuses Ex-Husband ‘Ted Lasso’ Star Jason Sudeikis for Putting Her in Debt After Leaving Him for Harry Styles
Olivia Wilde had been in the headlines since 2021 for her blooming romance with Harry Styles. However, things suddenly turned cold in November last year when the duo decided to hit the brakes on their romance. Though the pair went different ways, she is now keeping her major focus on the custody battle of her two kids, Otis and Daisy whom she shares with her ex-fiancee, Jason Sudeikis.
The ex-betrothed had been involved in the major drama after calling off their engagement three years ago. The custody battle is one of the prime reasons behind that however a new report shared that the director is now accusing Sudeikis of putting her in debt.

As per recent reports by Daily Mail, the actress, Olivia Wilde is claiming that her ex-to-be-husband, Jason Sudeikis is trying to “litigate her into debt” as he can afford the continuous trials as he is richer than her.
Her attorneys wrote about it ahead of the scheduled hearing on Friday in LA,
“While Jason can afford to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia cannot.”
Her attorneys continued,
“Jason should not be permitted to litigate Olivia into debt, and then claim she should be deprived of her right to seek a needs-based fee contribution from him.”
They also added that she is “aware that he is far wealthier than she is.”
Their custody battle probably surfaced when she left him for singer, Harry Styles whom she dated for nearly two years before the duo announced taking a break from the relationship.
Olivia Wilde’s Legal Fight With Jason Sudeikis Stemmed from Her Romance With Harry Styles
The parent of the two has been involved in a legal lawsuit regarding the custody of their children for a few years now. Following their breakup, they agreed to co-parent their children however their mutual understanding turned strained when her ex-beau got involved with her.
Their lawsuit majorly is pending as they want different plans for their kids. On one hand, the actress wants her kids to live in LA, the other one being her ex-fiancee who wants the kids to be with him in New York City.
Things went quite bad when she suddenly received the custody documents in April last year while she was giving a speech on the controversial film, Don’t Worry Darling. In her reply, she shared that the duo have previously agreed on cordially taking care of the kids however he then became adamant about living in NYC with them. When she did not agree to his suggestion, he filed those documents.
Though the Ted Lasso star, later on, apologized for sending the documents on the stage. He further added,
“First, Olivia said that if I did not reside full-time in Los Angeles, she would allow me to spend time with Otis and Daisy on weekends and during vacation periods — thus depriving me of my right to parent the children during important periods of their lives.”
He also claimed that the actress-filmmaker told him about moving to London with the kids as she was planning to live with her One Direction alum. In January, speculations surfaced that the former couple’s relationship had improved however this new report says otherwise.
