“I truly don’t tolerate hate of any kind”: Jennifer Aniston Breaks Silence After Liking Jamie Foxx’s Anti-Semitic Post
Actor Jamie Foxx, who was recently discharged from a hospital following a lengthy stay there to treat a serious medical issue, raised eyebrows when he shared a controversial post while calling out fake friends. Following that, his “anti-Semitic” statement sparked outrage on the internet.
In the midst of the backlash directed at Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Aniston found herself in hot water after her single Instagram Like suddenly became a huge topic of discussion on the internet for all the wrong reasons.
Aniston faced criticism for liking Foxx’s anti-Semitic post. She then used the opportunity to address the issue.
Jennifer Aniston Clarifies Liking Jamie Foxx’s Anti-Semitic Post
Through her Instagram account, Aniston explained why she liked Jamie Foxx’s apparent anti-semitic social media post, emphasizing her opposition to all forms of hate.
On August 4, actor Jamie Foxx had shared a cryptic message on his social media account that pointed to antisemitism. The Baby Driver actor’s post read, “They killed this dude name Jesus… what do you think they’ll do to you?” in all caps. He shared the post on both his grid and Instagram story.
Aniston appears to have liked the controversial post without even fully reading it, which drew people’s attention. The Good Girl star is now clearing things up. She began, sharing a screenshot of Foxx’s post to her own Instagram story and calling out the narrative. Her post read,
“This really makes me sick. I did not ‘like’ this post on purpose or by accident. And more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up in their feeds – I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. I truly don’t tolerate HATE of any kind. Period.”
It seems like the Just Go With It actress just focused on the section about fake love and fake friends.
People Compare Jamie Foxx To Kanye West Anti-Semitic Post
The Django Unchained actor immediately removed the post from the grid, but the Instagram story was left up for a brief period of time and screenshotted. From then, it spread online among numerous Jewish communities. He is under criticism for his racial remarks. On social media, some people compared Foxx to Kanye West, who last year faced repercussions for his anti-Semitic remarks.
However, Jamie Foxx has not yet issued any statement.
