In a past interview, the actress claimed that she would go ahead to work in a small-budget movie rather than suffer with people’s mixed reviews. Scarlett Johansson revealed how strange it was for her to encounter contrasting reviews from fans after watching her movie.

In a past Interview, Scarlett Johansson opened up about the different experiences she had while filming movies be it the Marvel or other genres. The Black Widow star is known for being bold and straight with her thoughts and she proved it again by opening up about how she felt while experiencing mixed reviews from fans. Johansson played the challenging role of an alien in a movie named Under The Skin. The movie wasn’t a typical box office hit and the Don Jon star told The Guardian that:
I don’t think I’ve ever seen reviews quite so extreme, I say.
“I would way rather not have a middle ground. I would way rather fail in someone’s eyes than be that sort of tepid… that’s the worst.
The Ghost In The Shell actress explained that watching her fans giving mixed reviews on Under The Skin was a strange experience. Even though it wasn’t Johansson’s first movie but was first watching along with the fans. Scarlett Johansson heard people cheering and booing at the same time which made her feel blue. It was startling for her to receive such extreme reviews and Johansson revealed that she would accept people to hate the movie rather than accepting those polarized responses.
