Two and a Half Men is a commonly known modern-day American TV sitcom featuring Charlie Sheen, Angus T. Jones, and Jon Cryer as the three main men on the show. The sitcom aired from 2003 to 2015 with 12 well-appreciated seasons under CBS. However, close to the end of the show in 2011, Charli Sheen, one of the main characters of the show was taken off by the creator Chuck Lorre for his derogatory remarks. Further in 2015, the actor came out as HIV positive for the past four years.

Charlie Sheen, although was taken off from the show due to his comments and anger management issues, his co-stars simply had positive comments for him. However, Jenny McCarthy, one of his co-stars who played his love interest in the series, was quite spiteful about his HIV revelation.

Following Charlie Sheen’s ordeal and exit from the show Two and a Half Men after making disrespectful comments about Chuck Lorre, his career became quite a wreck. However, after he revealed his HIV-positive results, his co-stars’ perception of him soon changed. Four years post his exit from the show, Sheen revealed his health issues and his HIV-positive results. 

Sheen’s co-stars soon took to the media to state their ideas about him. Despite the complicated offscreen relationships, perceptions started to change, post his revelation and they all came in support of Sheen. The actors from Two and a Half Men stated that there was no foul play although Sheen spiraled out of the show. However, one among all Jenny McCarthy was not pleased by his revelation of HIV-positive results. McCarthy out of all showed nothing but concerns looking back to her time on set with her onscreen love interest Charlie Sheen. The actress shared her unpopular opinion “Playing even his love interest on the show, back in the day, I go, ‘Ick! That’s not fair. It’s scary.’”. Sheen’s major announcement of being HIV positive resulted in his co-star McCarthy worrying about her time on set with Sheen featuring kissing scenes. 

McCarthy opened up about her concerns for she considered Sheen to be irresponsible. Actors and actresses were to sign contracts before certain scenes to reveal if there was anything wrong, and yet the Wall Street actor took it lightly and risked not just his but even his co-stars’ life.

Charlie Sheen slammed Jenny McCarthy for her calculation and public remarks

Despite onscreen chemistry, Jenny McCarthy had nothing but concerns regarding Charlie Sheen’s irresponsibility. Although Sheen’s other love interest Jennifer Taylor stated positive remarks about the actor, McCarthy couldn’t help but simply worry. 

On one hand, Sheen’s love interest Jennifer Taylor shared “He was a normal, fun, nice guy. When I was on it, the day-to-day experience was wonderful”. While on the other hand, his other love interest Jenny McCarthy shared “I have sympathy for him because, you know, he’s sick and it’s awful, but man, he’s going to have to take some major accountability with many people in his life,”

Although peers showered the actor with support after he came out being HIV positive, Jenny McCarthy had a completely different agenda. She slammed him for his irresponsibility and asked him to be accountable for his actions. However, McCarthy’s comments faced immense backlash, not just from netizens but also from Sheen himself. 

The actor didn’t stay put to McCarthy’s comments, he simply made sly remarks with proper choice of words, for he claimed he tested HIV positive well after he left the show. He stated, “If she’s listening, Jenny, you’re an absolute rock star and a doll, but my gosh”. The actor went on to slam McCarthy for her maths skills stating, “Jenny McCarthy should go back and murder her math teacher. Why? Because her simple math skills are sh*t.”

Despite Jenny McCarthy and Charlie Sheen’s on-screen romance, the two seemed to have ended on bad terms in real life, especially after their spiteful and sarcastic remarks from each other.
