Dwayne Johnson says he’s raising the bar with ‘get to’ philosophy

In a recently shared video of him working out at the gym, Dwayne Johnson wrote in the caption,

“We pushed hard and made progress. Been applying the ‘get to’ philosophy lately when it comes to pushing myself, getting after it and raising the bar. And that mindset has really helped me calibrate my perspective and get even more focused. We ‘get to’ put in the work.”

Johnson continued,

“As opposed to we ‘have to’. Big difference you can apply to all areas of life in a positive way, Grateful for the grind. Go super light on the chest finisher and squeeze the hell outta the reps.”

But eagle-eyed fans noticed how the actor was lifting 20 kg on either side and was sweating too much. They mentioned in the comment section of the video shared by account @rickileetimandjoel that they had expected a lot more from him.

A user wrote under the actor’s video, “Who else noticed it’s only 20 on each side like what? Thought it would be more than that, it’s The Rock”, while someone else wrote, “I’m not even that soaked when I shower.” Another user noted under @rickileetimandjoel’s video of the actor shared, “If you lift you know what he’s doing”, while another wrote, “it’s not about the weight it’s about the intensity.”

Soon the comment section of @rickileetimandjoel’s account had turned into a heated discussion over fans trying to defend the actor. Fans of the actor filled the comment section by pointing out how they had expected him to use more weight but it should be noted that the actor had mentioned that he was now training in sauna-like conditions and focused more on the reps; which could be the reason for the sweat.
